Authorization card is used to set/cancel door lock password, not for unlocking doors.
Master card can open all door locks, even the counter-locked door lock, free of time restriction.
Building card can be used to open all door locks in a certain building, with the exception of double lock.
Floor card can be used to open all door locks, with the exception of double lock, in the corresponding floor.
Clean card can be used to open all door locks in specific zone, with the exception of double lock.
Emergency card can be used to open all locks, even for the double locked one, and keeps them under constant opening status.
Guest card can be used to open the locks of designated room, with the exception of double lock.
Foreman card can be used to open the locks, with the exception of double lock, in the designated floor.
Lock out card cannot be used for unlocking but for terminating the guest card.
The card is used to close/dismantle the door lock, generally held by the housekeeping manager.
This card is used for setting door lock parameters (floor number, floor and room number, etc), generally held by the system administrator.
Data gathering card is used to gather the unlocking record for door locks.
Clock card is used for setting the door lock clock, generally held by the system administrator.
The card is provided with the function to set /cancel constant-opening for door lock, generally held by system administrator and not designed with loss reporting function.
Alarm card is used for an alarm for an unclosed door if the door is open.
None-disturbing card is used to clean the double-lock function.
Check-out card cannot be used for unlocking but terminating guest cards in advance.
The system requirements for installing the Tuchware TW8088 RFID Hotel Door Lock Software include a Pentium series processor (CPU), 128M RAM, Win2000/XP operating system, and at least one idle serial.
To install the Encoder for the Tuchware TW8088 RFID Hotel Door Lock Software, run CP210x_VCP_Win2K_XP_S2K3.exe in the installation CD.
To install the Software for the Tuchware TW8088 RFID Hotel Door Lock Software:
Run the HotelLock.exe in the installation CD.
Install system: insert disk, run setup.exe, complete installation as per the prompt.
System initialization: after first operating system and enter the user logon interface, the default user name is: SUPER; password: 0; indicating the super administrative authority. (** for the sake of safety, add new Administration Manager immediately and cancel the default super user **). After log in, directly access the software. If any Encoder is detected, it will be allowed to OK the door lock software, if not, OK the software for demonstration by selecting “Yes”.
If it shows that can’t detect the encoder when you open the software, please do as followed.
- Check the computer setting. Find my computer—right click and find property– -find hardware and click device manager—find COM AND LPT— That means, the encoder is connected with com 7. If it shows (COM1), that mean the encoder is connected with com1. This digit also maybe another one, like 2,3 or5 and so on. 2.
- In this step, you need to change the hotel lock system. Right click the hotel software icon on the desktop—find property—click find target—then you will enter the software installation package and please find SYS.INI and open it—find the followed part and change this setting same as your computer com=7 or other digits same as your computer in the first step. Then save it into the same package. If you can save into the same package, pls save it into another place and then replace the original one with this new file.
The three grade operator limits are Super Manager, Manager, and Receptionist. Super Manager has complete access to all system operation functions, while Manager has access to all functions except recovering authorization information and operator management. Receptionist is limited to issuing guest cards, inquiring working condition, and modifying passwords.
Select a room in the room status table with a click on the left mouse button, as shown in the following figure. After modifying check-in time, click OK key to issue guest card. Select “Issue Guest Card” in the Check In column, input room number, and click on OK button or Enter key to issue guest card (shortcut F2).
Tick the Lost in the Issue Guest Card window to re-issue a new guest card. It is necessary to report loss first in the software, to prevent anyone to use the loss card to open the door. After unlocking by the re-issued card, the lost guest card will be unable to unlock the guest room.
Press CTRL, select the room number on the main interface with the mouse, (room number will be added in the bottom left list box. It is able to issue more than 2 cards by a repeated selection of room number, and the room number can be cancelled by double clicking on the corresponding number in the list box) after changing check-in time, click on OK to issue group cards. Take away the card and put on another new card when the encoder makes a sound, repeat till all the cards are finished.
With the mouse click Read Guest Card from the Check In menu. Put a card on the encoder.
Click the room number, see the picture below, put a card on, press Erase to cancel the card.
Click on the “Revise Check Out time” function module in the pull-down menu “Check In”, put a card on the encoder. Change the check-out time, click on “Modify check-out time”.
Click on the “Change Room” function module in the pull-down menu “Check In”, Put a card on the encoder. After inputting the room number, click on “Change room”.
Click on the “Card Issue Record” function module in the “Record Check” menu. Detailed data will be provided and displayed in the data grid about the issuing and cancellation of guest cards.
Click on the “Work shift” function module in the “Tool” menu, input the code and password of the new worker, click on OK to confirm.
Click on the “Screen Lock” function module in the pull-down menu “Tool”. System will be locked for re-open the software if the on-duty operator password is not input.
Select the “Change Password” in the “Tool” menu , then input old password, and input the new password twice.
The authorization card stores critical system information in case of information loss. Clients can recover the system information through the card function “Re-Authorization” in the “Administration Manager”.
At least two authorization cards are needed for the first system operation.
Keep the door under opening status by holding the mechanical key and clean with the new authorization card the original authorization information in the circuit board that has not been cleaned or when the door lock system authorization is updated.
When needing to update the authorization card, first cancel the door lock authorization with the old authorization card, then cancel all the originally issued cards prior to issuing new authorization cards.
The guest room setting card sets information for room number, floor and building number.
The suit inner door setting card sets the information for inner door, room number, floor and building number.
The floor common door setting card sets the information such as the room number, floor and building number.
The building common door setting card sets the information such as the floor and building number for guest room door lock.
The Maid Zone Setup card is used to set the building number for the guest room door lock.
To issue the Master card, click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management ”, select the card type – Mastercard. Input the name of the card holder, ID number and remark information as required, click on OK to issue the card.
To issue the Building card, click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type– Building card and OK the following screen. Input the name of the card holder, ID number and remark information as required, click on OK to issue card.
To issue the Building card, click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type– Building card and OK the following screen. Input the name of the card holder, ID number and remark information as required, click on OK to issue card.
To issue the Foreman card, click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type – Floor card. Input the building number and floor range, as required, input the name of card holder, ID number and remark information click on OK to issue card.
To issue the Floor card, click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type to be issued – Floor card. Input the floor that requires a floor card, and as required, input the name of card holder, ID number and remark information, click on OK to issue card.
The Lock out card is used to close the unused room.
To issue the Termination card, click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type– Termination card. Input the name of the card holder, ID number and remark information as required, click on OK to issue the card.
The Check-out card is used to terminate the effective guest card in case of check-out in advance or guest card loss.
To issue the Check-out card, click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type to be issued – Check-out card. Input the name of the card holder, ID number and remark information as required, click on OK to issue the card.
The Passage Card Setting Card is used to set the passage open and passage close time for the building.
To issue the Passage Card Setting Card, click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type– Passage Card Setting Card. Select the room in a floor that requires a passage card, after selecting the building common door, click on OK.
In emergency conditions, the door lock can be set as a constant opening state by approaching the emergency card to open the door lock.
Click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type –Emergency card. Input the name of the card holder, ID number and remark information as required, click on OK to issue the card.
After approaching the emergency card, the door is opened with continuous short buzzing sounds, and the door lock is under constant opening state; when the emergency condition is relieved, approach the card again to recover the original state.
Click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type to be issued –Do-Not-Disturb setting card. Input the name of the card holder, ID number and remark information as required, click on OK to issue the card.
Click on the “Issue card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”, select the card type to be issued –Clock card. Input the appropriate time in the time setting box according to the displayed current time, click on OK to issue a card.
It is used for setting double locking do-not-disturb function.
Click on the “Erase Card” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”. After entering the operating interface, put the card above the induction zone of Encoder and the system will display the card information. After confirming the card information, click on “Erase” to complete the operation.
Click on the “Read cards” function module in the pull-down menu “Card Management”. After entering the operating interface, put the card above the induction zone of Encoder and the system will display the card information.
Click with the left mouse button on the specific room number in the room status, select Remote Erase Guest Card function module in the ”Check In”. Input the room number and “Search” this card information. Erase it with the “Erase” button.
Yes, prior to Remote Erase, confirm the quantity of effective card, or quantity discrepancy will exist between the effective card and issuing card number.
Input the date period, click on Data Management from the Card Management to clean the log-out but in-service records, and click on Data Delete to clear the log-out record in the period.
Display all work logs by clicking on the “System log” in the “Record Check” menu. By selecting the operation type, you can inquire about such work logs in some working period such as issuing guest card, modifying guest card, cancelling guest card, work shift, function card setting, operator setting and System Set Up.
Display all card issuing records by clicking on the “Card issuing record” in the “Record Check” menu. It is allowed to set time and inquire about the work log in the prescribed time. Input a certain guest room number to check one room record. If no room number is inputted, the records are for all guest rooms.
The maximum building number when using the lift control is 15.
The maximum floor number when using the lift control is 31.
The maximum room number when using the lift control is 127.
The maximum building number when not using the lift control is 15.
The maximum floor number when not using the lift control is 63.
The maximum room number when not using the lift control is 635.
Input the building number (8—8), floor number (2—10) and room number (1—25) simultaneously, select Adding to add all rooms in the floor 2—10.
Select the room number in the upper list box, click on “Add the room type”, and select the required room type.
Select the room number in the upper list box, click on Cancel; when need to cancel all rooms, press on the OK until all rooms are cancelled.
If using the lift control, the building number cannot exceed 15, floor number cannot exceed 31, and room number cannot exceed 127. If not using the lift control, the building number cannot exceed 15, floor number cannot exceed 63, and room number cannot exceed 635.
Select the room number in the list box above, and click the “delete” tab. If deleting all rooms, please click on the “delete” tab and keep pressing on the “enter” tab until all the rooms are deleted.
Click on the “System Parameter” in the pull-down menu “System Set Up” to access the System Parameter Setting.
You can modify the max card number, room amount per row number, check out time, etc according to your hotel’s needs.
To access Operator Management, log on using the code ‘SUPER’ and the password ‘0’. From there, you can access the menu “Administration Manager” and select “Operator Management”.
To add an operator, enter the user code, password, name, and screen saver password, select an authorization limit, and click the ‘Add’ button.
To cancel an operator, select the user code in the list box at the top left corner and click the ‘Cancel’ button. The operator code must not repeat and it is necessary to set only one Administration Manager. The code, name and password should be input when adding one operator. Only one authorization limit can be selected, each corresponds to a different operating screen. The authority level is ranked from high to low: Administration Manager, administrator, reception authorization level
Click on the function module “Restore authorization information” in the menu “Administration Manager”, put the setting authorization card on the Encoder. Click on the OK button and after displaying the prompt of successful restoration, quit the system.
